The Unstoppable Domains team has reached out to its users with a statement stating that the project will stop serving and selling .coin domains. All owners of these domains will receive compensation.
The developers made this decision to avoid conflict with the Emercoin platform due to the domain name.

Names, ending in .coin, became available last year. It is worth noting that the same domain on Emercoin has been produced since 2014.
The Unstoppable Domains project has already received criticism and accusations of plagiarism more than once. The UD team will compensate users in the amount of three times the cost of the domain. These funds can help to purchase other positions on the project.
