BNB Chain has announced the launch of the new Gas Grants Program aimed at motivating developers through rewards exceeding $1 million.

According to the official blog, up to three months of activities have been planned to encourage the involvement of developers on the opBNB and BSC networks.
Eligibility and Rewards Distribution
Participants in the program will receive 80% of the total gas fees from their projects as rewards on the opBNB and BSC networks. Projects operating on both networks will be ranked separately for each. If a project ranks in the top 15 on both, it will receive the higher reward for only one network, while the lower-position reward will be passed to the next in line.
Developer Support and Future Plans
The program includes dApps deployed on BSC or opBNB after January 1, 2024, with at least 100 daily active users over the past 30 days before the announcement date, and at least one security audit completed. Applications open on August 19, 2024, and rewards will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, up to $440,000 monthly.
This initiative underscores the platform's commitment to supporting and expanding the developer community, emphasizing the importance of security and user activity on the opBNB and BSC platforms.
