The market for tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) is showing significant growth, reaching a capitalization of $76 billion. This increase indicates the integration of cryptocurrencies into the real financial sector along with increasing interest from institutional investors.

Tokenized Assets: Current Achievements

Since the beginning of the year, the on-chain value of RWA assets has nearly doubled, exceeding $29 billion. The majority of tokenized assets consists of private credit (50%) and US Treasury bonds (25%). The remaining assets are distributed among stocks, commodities, bonds, and alternative funds.

Ethereum as a Leader in Tokenization

More than 75% of tokenized assets circulate on the Ethereum platform and its Layer 2 extensions, attributed to the blockchain's technical robustness and mature ecosystem. Crypto projects like Chainlink, Avalanche, and Ondo Finance support this growth with institution-focused solutions.

The Future of Tokenization and Its Impact on the Financial System

The current dynamics pave the way for a new global exchange standard. Cryptocurrencies are entering a phase of deep integration, bridging public finance and private markets. Some experts suggest that crypto assets may threaten global stability.

The market for tokenized real assets demonstrates that cryptocurrencies are becoming an essential tool for financial structuring, opening new opportunities for institutional investors and traditional financial institutions.
