As Ripple expands globally, a new partnership has been announced. Ripple is collaborating with Archax, the first registered crypto exchange in the UK, to facilitate the XRP Ledger's role in real-world asset (RWA) tokenization. This venture will specifically focus on tokenizing real-world assets (RWAs) and aims to inject a substantial amount of capital into the XRP Ledger (XRPL) in the coming year. Archax plans to enhance the efficiency and market reach of these assets by utilizing XRPL's infrastructure to enable financial institutions to tokenize RWAs. Markus Infanger, the Senior Vice President of RippleX, lauded the partnership for ushering in a new era where blockchain technology will significantly benefit financial markets. He praised Archax's commitment to advancing blockchain and digital asset technology within the financial sector while underlining XRPL's position as a leading blockchain for RWA tokenization. Ripple's CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, noted the increasing trend of financial institutions tokenizing real-world assets on XRPL and other Layer-1 blockchains, expecting this trend to grow exponentially in the future.
